Why is it such a big deal if a guy doesn't want a relationship at all?

I mean, when I tell people that I don't want a relationship at all, they seem like they go out of their way to convince me otherwise or to try to set me up on dates.

The women who are upset by this probably don't even know why themselves (they've never really thought about WHY they feel the way they do), but ultimately it's because you're essentially denying your resources from women, and they can't support that, because they believe it's men's job to give their resources to women. And, yes, this is despite Feminism and "equality" and all of that - they STILL expect men to give their resources to women.

It also takes away much of women's power if you no longer submit to them in order to get sex - that's women's primary source of power over men.

Some of them may say that "you're just going to 'use' women for sex", but no one says you're going to date women at all, plus the reality is that only the top 15% or so of men can easily use women for sex - the majority of men simply can't.

At the end of the day, it's about your resources.

It's mainly the women I work with. They always act appalled like it's inconceivable that a guy doesn't want a relationship. And my guy friends (and female coworkers) will always try to pressure me into go flirt or hit on random women whenever we all hit up the bar after work.
