It's better to be single, because it seems in any relationship the woman always wants more than a man. This chart proves on what I'm talking about when is comes to starting a relationship. Its suppose to be 50/50 in the relationship you're in. Nothing more, nothing less.

It seems money is way more popular than trying to have a relationship. Worst part about it, I try meeting women that I've never met before, and their first word during greeting and introductions is: Cash App. Without trying to get to know me my name or anything about me just my wallet. I am nobody's magical Money Tree especially to a stranger I don't even know. If I don't have the money, you have to deal with it until I have it not leave me for somebody else who has it.
I'm one of those people who prefers to stay single. There really is no such thing as love anymore. Don't get me wrong, I would like to have a relationship with a decent woman that's willing to get to know me for me and not for my wallet. But there is no such thing as that, because the decent women that men are looking for are nowhere to be found or extremely difficult to look. I've been single for 3 years, my last girlfriend said that she wanted to break up in the relationship just to focus on herself then 3 hours later after the breakup she's texting pictures and selfies with her new boyfriend making me realize that she lied. She tells me that I'm a pervert who just focus on myself, my goals, and don't talk to her entirely. I agree with not talking to her entirely because I'm not really a talker I don't really got anything to talk about unless we share the same common interest and things we like to do together. She's a PlayStation user, I'm an Xbox user, she likes comedy and drama movies, I like blood and gore horror movies and anime, she likes to travel but she doesn't tell me where she go, she wants to know about my personal background and I just prefer not to open up old scar wounds. So I guess playing video games and going to work three times a week counts as me focusing on myself. Starting a relationship with a person you want to love is definitely not an overnight working progress. Especially when you're meeting someone and wanting to get to know them and they're not really up open book type of person or the type of person that likes to discuss about themselves and just prefer to be quiet because I'm that type of person. I'm a gentleman I got nothing to hide about myself if you're willing to get to know me but if it's going to be about money then you can hit the brakes and don't bother trying to get to know me or anybody if that's what that person is looking for. I refuse to be anyone's magical Money Tree in any relationship especially when I don't even know that person. The only way anyone can find permanent love in a relationship, is the find someone who's never been in love or experience love in a relationship in the first place or travel to a different dimension and fall in love with a female or male version of yourself for permanent relationship love. That's just my theory.36 Reply- +1 y
In my relationships I've always ever been what appears to be the guy.
There's really not a lot I want in a relationship. The extend on the guys side, I wanted my partner and I to have a social life, with our family and friends, and attend events we were invited to together.
He was on the female side of the list. And it was suffocating! - +1 y
@lilyanony1 Too bad you're not my girlfriend, cuz the only thing I ever wanted from both of your lives is just love and loyalty. Men and I want to come home from work one day see my girlfriend happy to see me and I'm able to hug and hold her until I am forcibly removed. Is that too much to ask for?
- +1 y
I really am a simple girl. All I want is to spend time with that person and for us not to see other people. I don’t care about money. Or gifts or anything materialistic. Just want to be loved.
- +1 y
@lilyanony1 Will you be my future girlfriend? (Don't answer that, It's extremely difficult to find beautiful decent woman like you who just want to love)

I agree with you @Juicyred921 if the last 2 years have shown me anything. It's love and kindness.
Everything else is extras... - +1 y
@CuriousJC in a different situation, if we met and got on in person I'd hope that if we're meant to be we'd meet.

+1 yMarriage and child birth are down by 51% in western society. This is because men aren’t signing up for marriage it’s a bad deal. 1 mil divorces in the USA over 800,000 are initiated by women. The will win and take everything including the the children. They will weaponize his children and not let him see them or give him hell and make him fight to see them. They will get half of his future wages in the form of child support and alimony. The courts are biased most men have no chance to come out of it fairly. So they are not signing up. Especially younger men they saw what their mothers did to their dads. You can thank modern feminism. It’s going to get much worse i counsel men , and I tell them to be very very careful , and get a prenup at least 6 months before the ceremony. The government promotes it , because 50 billion dollars a year are generated in to state coffers from divorce it’s been commercialized to make money. They’ve made it easy for a women to steal a man’s life and her and the government profit by it. Don’t take my word for it. Look it up the facts are there. Also men don’t have to get married in this hookup culture. Women give it away , and flaunt it every where in the name of empowerment, unfortunately for these immoral women. Good men don’t wife whores. If you find a good man that’s willing take care of him. My son got married , but he found an exceptional women he fell in love with in high school they were together 4 years before marriage they’ve been together 8 years now they grew together it’s like two sides of the same person. I’m very proud of them. It’s traditional she stays home right now raising my grandchildren. He works and has already bought to houses at 25 years old. They work as team. Good luck there are good men out there. Be careful of the adult males.

There's a real divide and mass depreciation of the other.
Some people along the way have given either or gender a bad name but we need to remember that those few don't represent us all. In life we do have to be respectful and honest with each other. If it works it works, if it doesn't I really think we need to move on and find someone else.
Whatever that relationship looks like it's about what makes each person happy.10 Reply

+1 yI dont think so. I recommend you to date virgins or men with low bodycount in their late 20s. If he has low/zero bodycount at such age it means that he has long relationships or he does not fuck around. You also can talk about every important topic before dating so your time dont get wasted. I always make sure that i am very serious and dont let people waste my time and make sure they understand what kind of consequences they will have if they even try to waste my time/to play with me.

Cool I’m sure most women would agree and vote most are not seeking a relationship, they are trying to get sex first and foremost. Also whenever someone mentions about the not so good guys…someone has to always say not all are the same. people know that but it’s a lot and I mean a lot that are they way people are describing.

@TwinkleLily5 Perhaps most of the guys in your part of the world are not seeling a serious relationship but I know many guys of all ages who are looking for a long term partner, and this includes a number of college age men.

+1 yI feel like this topic has too many factors to simply answer with a yes or no. But, in general, I think guys DO want relationships or a girlfriend but choose to stay single because of the dating culture at the moment. From the stupidity of the "Woke" mentality to the ridiculousness that is family court, there are many reasons men are staying single now. While this is the general reason, here is mine:
Meeting people in today's internet-ruled world requires that you have social media. I don't take a lot of selfies. The pictures I do take have a lot more meaning behind them than a picture of my face. I often show what I'm doing or like doing. What does this have to do with staying single? Well... if I follow someone on social media to try to get to know her the first thing she's going to do is look through my profile. She'll see maybe one or two photos of me and immediately write me off. I'm not great looking... but I'm not ugly either. At least not that I've been told. What happens next? She leaves me on read. I have yet to ever receive a simple "I'm not interested" or "I'm not looking to date anyone right now" or even a mean "ew... no". There is no communication. How the hell is someone supposed to get to know anyone if the other party doesn't even make an effort to reply? I've been divorced for over a year but I knew a year before then that it was coming. My ex-wife and I just had too many differences at that point so for me, it has felt like I've been single for over 2 years. In the year that I've been divorced, I've only made a handful of attempts to try to get to know someone and have always been left on read. How is a man supposed to have any hope of ever dating anyone if their experience has been constant rejection and constant silence?
The other day I had the thought that if a woman ever reached out to me I'd immediately get pissed off... not because I don't want a woman reaching out to me but because at this point I'm done. I've given a whole year to try to meet people only to get shut down at every turn. Do you know how a lot of men say "Well... I'm a nice guy" and then proceed to make themselves look like an ass in their rant? Well, I'm an actual nice guy. I'm not blaming women in this post. I'm blaming the creation of social media. Social media has put information at our fingertips that allow us to make these quick decisions behind a screen with complete and total disregard for what the person on the other end of that decision is going to feel. It's easy to swipe left because the specific picture they posted just didn't do it for you. Then most of the time you swipe right based on the one picture expecting the man to be your Prince Charming. This "Prince Charming" then comes around and turns out to be the world's biggest douche you know and suddenly "All men are bad". I wish we could go back to a time when you still had to court your woman. It would make things so much simpler.
End of rant, I think. So to answer your question... I think there are plenty of men out there who want relationships but they're the ones not being given the chance because social media has made them to be the "nice guys" or the guys who look nothing like the cast of Marvel's movies and, therefore, get deemed "unworthy" of any attention at all. If you'd like to chat privately, send me a message. I'm all ears.00 Reply
+1 yThere are guys who want relationships but probably for now you and those guys just didn't connect. You could try expanding your pool geographically, if you're okay with that. And probably give a stretch on the age and other qualities you're looking for.
I know you don't want to 'lower' your standards, but revisit those standards and narrow them down to the most crucial things.
And I think, most of all, ask yourself this 'Have you yourself met those standards that you made for the future man?' If not, either lower your standards or work harder on rising up to them.12 Reply- +1 y
I really don’t have any standards. Just want someone who likes me, doesn’t cheat, and that I’m at least a little physically attracted to. But I think the attractive guys don’t want me. I have to learn to settle for anyone who would even be willing to date me.
- +1 y
Then you gotta set yourself a standard. I'm sorry if you're tired of this saying but I have to say it 'love yourself.' Love yourself and focus on other things. Some people don't look attractive simply because they don't know how to dress themselves, how to find the perfect haircut, etc. And that could be easily changed. What we can't really change is who they really are as a person. Never settle just because you don't want to be alone.

If you fail to see the “Diamond in the rough” you gonna be stuck with guys that have almost as much of an inflated sense of self-value as 70% of women these days.10 Reply Some guys want a relationship. Some guys want friends with benefits. Some guys might want something different. Some guys might have taken themselves off the market completely, some might have done something new or different. You are never going to know if you if you get into the habit of making sweeping assumptions. I think people see sweeping assumptions on the internet and surround themselves with them. So they end up thinking that assumption is the truth. Even when it quickly falls apart when you start talking to people on a individual bases.
00 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. No it´s not, I´d rather say guys don´t know how to get into a relationship because as time went by we lost the knowledge of how to get there because porn created and enhanced in us the idea that we could exhort the pleasure of a relationship (sex) from the messy and hard part of being in a relationship and instead just be friends with benefits and be more happy that way.
The problem is now some guys are happy that way but most guys are either not able to find a friend with benefit or they don´t want to.
But because it seems like many of those guys have lost the knowledge of how to date as well with the bravery of taking risks to find a girlfriend they just became bitter blaming feminism instead.
It´s the problem of our time that the guys that don´t know how to date often times are also the guys who aren´t interested in hookups.00 Reply
+1 yThe trick is guys wants relationship but you have to be a challenge to them! Women comes a dime a dozen for men and no matter how beautiful you are it's not going to get them to put a ring on it. Stop being easy! The guy you want don't sleep with him! Tell him you just want to be friends because out in this world men just want to hit it without any love for you, and run! No matter how upset he gets because he 's going to want to have sex with you! Don't give it to him until you get that ring and tie that knot! Play your game girl it works!

And it might be true, the guy u want dont sleep with. But thats fucking hilarious as uve already done that with other dudes, some of u even required abortions
It probably depends on the where and the age of that
in some places its getting harder with peoples mindsets getting a bit more complicated for guys to understand or deal with and makes it harder to find the right person which makes some guys prefer the idea of just hooking up anytime with the girl of his choosing as it makes things easier without the extra load of complex relationship and responsabilties, I believe that might be a reason. but it's not doomed for you and you're not wasting your time but it can be worth trying to find the right guy for you who wants the same things. might not be that easy but it's worth it.00 Reply349 opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes. And you can thank women for that. Why would you want to have a serious relationship with a woman who smokes/drinks/promiscuous/ghetto/obnoxious? Men LOVE reserved, kind, quiet women. If you want to bring back relationships and chivalry, respect yourself. Don’t sleep around. Don’t wear oversexual clothes. Don’t pierce your body and get tattoos everywhere. Don’t sleep over guys houses or go to clubs/parties all the time. Respect yourself, and a guy will respect you, pursue you, and marry you. Don’t go looking for a guy. They will look for you.
10 ReplyNo, that is not true. Stop going after Chads and then being surprised the 9 out of 10 looking men don't want to settle down with you! You probably do this so often, you haven't even been with a normal guy who just wants a romantic relationship. Hence the assumption "all guys just want to hook up." No. All the guys YOU ONLY SAY YES TO, only want to hook up!

+1 yThis is the new normal because y'all ladies have changed the available options.
Back in the day generally we could stay single and have little sex. Or get married to a wifely sort of woman. Virgin cooks cleans obedient etc so most men decided to marry a good woman instead of be single.
Now generally we have the option to either marry or be serious with someone who spent years sleeping around, doesn't take care of the house, talks back, might divorce us and take the house. Or we can stay single and fuck tons of girls all the time. Or casually date and as soon as we are bored with her dump her for another.
It should be obvious which one is the most attractive option from each of the two scenarios.30 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yWell when there’s an abundance of women out there who are willing to sleep around it doesn’t make it easier. Plus looking at your age, not just you but men in general at an older age if you’re single people tend to wonder why. Maybe they wants kids so an older female they feel may not be the best health wise. Does she have kids? Maybe they don’t want to take care of other people’s kids. I’ve dated older women myself when I was younger who would just trash men as opposed to a girl who was younger who hadn’t been put through the wringer of dating shitty men. I think there’s still someone out there for you, just a smaller dating pool.

+1 yI get it. I feel bad for women like you. You see, the problem is that men aren't real men anymore. Most guys have lackluster morals, lackluster physiques, age like shit, eat like shit, not saving it planning for the future, play video games, prioritize their own pleasure over the love and commitment to a woman.
Your probably better off staying single if you can't lock down a high value man. Just being honest. there's good looking, high value virgin men out there who can build their own furniture and know how to cook and maintain a house and fix things, but they are rare these days. Women aren't perfect either, but women have stopped trying because boys, Uh, I mean men, have stopped trying. One hand washes the other.
And by all means, never date a man who litters. Someone who litters is automatically low value. Hate that shit.00 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWell women’s “liberation” has made it more socially acceptable for women to be promiscuous. So it’s easier for guys to get laid.
However most guys really do want a relationship but we have a high bar for that commitment.
Reason being is that break ups actually hurt us much more than it hurts women. Women can cry it out, process it and recover. Guys have to internalize it and it can haunt us for months and even years. There is one girl who absolutely blindsided me years ago that I still think of almost every day. I never “cried it out” over her. I don’t even know how to.
Anyway have a lot much more to lose if things go south. Divorces can be especially devastating for men.20 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yIt's never been easy finding someone. But granted, seems to be getting even harder as the years go by. If you met someone, would it have been a "waste of time" though? Meaning yes there's a lot that aren't looking (women also believe it or not), but some that are. Just have to keep searching. Communication is big also, which is often lacking. Like don't be afraid to ask them right away what their relationship goals are, so you know if it's going to be a "waste" or not. And I'm always telling women, if you like a guy, you should also do some approaching.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThere are still plenty of guys who want relationships. But it is true that a lot more guys don't today than in the past. There are a lot of reasons for that, but the biggest are: 1) relationships and marriage are more risky for guys now and they don't offer the same benefits to men that they used to, and 2) in the past it was very difficult for a guy to get his sexual needs met outside of a committed relationship. That is not the case at all today. Women have reset the expectations about casual sex, and I don't think that genie is ever going back in the bottle.
In short, for men, relationships are less appealing, and there is less incentive to be in one.10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I think to a certain degree that guys today do not seek traditional relationships... the legal liabilities are astronomical... and that goes for women as well as men. But I do not agree that they so not seek serious long term relationships or monogamy. So absolutely you are NOT wasting your time... but you might be looking in the wrong places.
10 ReplyNoooo! Those are bad guys. Most of us wantcgirlfriends and eventually wives. The guys you mention are often attractive men who can behave this way because women let them. Do not allow players to ruin life for everybody else. Avoid those men and focus on good men, even if perhaps we are less attractive
20 ReplyGuys want sex, and those girls are giving them sex without a relationship/marriage.
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/why_buy_the_cow_when_you_can_get_the_milk_for_free00 ReplyI'm married, so it isn't an issue with me - but I think the way the culture has gone the last especially 30 or 40 years, men have been devalued, even scorned. They can't do anything right in the eyes of society. They're "toxic", as the narrative goes. I have watched young men basically get hen-pecked and beaten down and I don't blame them for not wanting to play a game they can never win. I feel bad for them.

+1 ywrong, girls are going for guys who are out of there league, and they can't admit it. These smart phones and dating apps have made most women delusional. Just because casual sex out of your league is easy for a woman, doesn't mean that a high-status guy will want her around. Perhaps go for a good guy who appreciates you but may be lower in the status game.

3.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. No that's not true. But the difficult part is finding a woman worth being in a relationship with. Too many with baggage, emotional issues, drinking issues, maturity issues, or just bring masculine energy and can't satisfy a guy's emotional needs. That's probably why you're not seeing a lot of guys wanting relationships. The cons outweigh the pros.

It's not that men don't want relationships, it's that which women are good for a relationship? They've all fucked a bunch of different guys before. They have a bunch of previous partners and baggage. The girl who's attractive as a long term partner seems increasingly rare, so in absence of that girl the others are just going to be good for flings.00 ReplyDo I want to date? Of course! Will I? I have self respect. But I thought when he told me he had feelings for me and when he told me he loved me.. I thought that meant something. But I was wrong. I’m just a nice girl who looked out for him and took care of him for a year. I didn’t mean anything to him. But he says well still be friends.
- +1 y
Yeah there are guys out there like that. My advice, say " don't tell me! Show me"!
If you want a relationship demand they make strides in that are. If you want marriage demand he work towards that goal. IF HE TRULY LOVES YOU he's going to at best want to make you happy and at worst going to do at least the minimal it takes to NOT lose you BOTTOM LINE!
So many women don't want to make this ultimatum though because they're too afraid of losing what little the got or getting. They afraid of the guy saying "fine", and leaving her. But the thing is she's really losing if he won't commit.

+1 yI want to find the right woman and us have a happy marriage and raise a family. However, right now my main priority is to get my career going and get financially established.
00 Reply It seems to me, that at the college I go to, guys are only interested in playing video games, getting high, and sex.

And what do u want. Go shopping, drink lattes and then sex?
Nah, some are like that. Others are just impatient and don't want you to get the wrong idea. Cause if a guy doesn't make it clear that he wants to be more than friends then there's a good chance she'll friendzone him.

+1 yNope. I had lots of casual sex and for me being in a committed relationship is the goal. Someone I can trust and grow with. Why wouldn’t that be logical?

Cause it seems to me.. guys can get everything they want with friends with benefits. They can have all different types of girls and once there bored or start arguing or the girl wants more.. that’s when they kick them to the curb and find more girls. They’ll have a different girl for every day of the week. They have a bunch of different girls who will take care of them, have cool conversations with them, and have sex with them. They just let them know that there just friends and nothing more.

That just sounds like lots of work. Isn’t it easier just to be with one person and learn about them and keep living life?
- +1 y
It goes to me. But I’ve never met a guy who thinks like that. It’s easier for them to just be friends with a bunch of girls and have have sex with them and have no emotions towards them at all.
- +1 y
Guys are emotional. Some may not be good at communicating their emotions but they have them. While that may seem easy it’s better to commit to one and then it’s less awkward and feels safer. Or do girls not like safety?
- +1 y
We feel safety. I felt safe but I was just kidding myself. I was wrong to assume that when he said I love you.. that he meant it. He says he loves me but there’s all different kinds of love. Guess it’s the kind of love where you could easily leave that person
- +1 y
That’s one guy and sounds like you are getting over a break up. You upset he left?
- +1 y
He hasn’t left yet. I’m helping him find a car do he can leave. Cause he’s been using my car for almost a year. And flips out on me saying he never wanted a relationship. I pushed it on him ( I really don’t think I did) .. all I wanted was to spend time with him and got us no to see other people. He says he doesn’t miss hooking up with random girls. And that when he told me he loves me.. there’s all different types of love.
- +1 y
He’s lying

Which part?

My bad, I’ve gone beyond a simple answer to the question

You mean he misses sleeping with other women.. that’s probably very true.
2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Not for guys who have at least started growing up, my girlfriend and I have been together in an online relationship for 16 months now and I can't wait to see her!

+1 yNope, that's not true. I would say that the majority of men do want relationships still. You're just not going to find that in places like this or on tinder.
00 Reply 850 opinions shared on Dating topic. Absolutely not true. None of my guy friends seem to want that. I want a relationship with one person, unfortunately I think too less of myself to actually try.

+1 yAre you asking if roughly 4 billion people all don't want relationships? Or do you mean some men, because if you do mean some, the answer is that not everyone wants the same things out of life.

+1 yYou can't blanket men in general, but I think there's a trend where less and less men (especially desirable men) are not committing to one single woman.
10 ReplyI'll tell you douches what. You are victim of LIBTARD democRAT LIES. Get your heads out of your assholes. You are all PEDOPHILES, no matter what you do. Get it straight. How do you do not be seen as a kid fuccker?
00 ReplyI feel like yes, either they want one night stands either they just wanna hang out for a while.
10 Reply4.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Actually I think more do. The counterculture free love thing is kinda over. And we’re even moving into sheltered Japanese guys looking for masters to tell them what to do. I forget what that’s called but it’s a growing trend there.

+1 yNot true. Some men would rather be in a relationship.
20 ReplyThat's not true... honestly. from my observation it seems like women are the ones that don't want relationships.

+1 yMost are that way, yeah.
It depends on where you look. Like online dating apps for example — people mostly go there to find a shag.01 Reply- +1 y
Also, the good ones out there have unbelievable standards. Like "I'd marry only a virgin" and I'm like g'luc finding that.

+1 yI can can't speak for all guys but in my case that is false. I'd love a relationship but I can't find anybody.
10 Reply I'd love a relationship. It seems to me a lot more girls than I thought want something casual. It doesn't really matter though. Not like anyone would want me either way
00 ReplyI think you're just looking for or dating the wrong ones. Plenty of guys still want relationships.

+1 yNot so of all guys. Social media makes it seem that way, doesn't it? You just have to be more discerning, and hopeful, than in years past :)

+1 yThat's false. I personally want a relationship, but many women walk away when asked to talk about themselves or just give vague replies with no content to build a conversation off of
