I haven't had my television on since this happened. I just heard about it on this site. I just posted about Tookie on another thread.

Tookie was a brutal killer and co-founder of the Crips in LA. Just before his execution, all the liberals gathered to cry and beg governor Schwarzenegger to not kill the killer.

So yeah, I agree with you. I don't want to hear about a crazed shooter, and then have the people weep not for the victims, but for the killer.

Of course I wish that it never happened, but what ends up happening is that it becomes a political discussion. There are about 360 million people in America, but there are more guns than there are people. Good luck trying to confiscate them all -- even in light of the authoritarian Soviet style police state we're rapidly becoming.

Well, y'see, they've got all these smart people running around that know what's going on and they have to be won over to their side so they can agree to get rid of guns! Dude, I think a lot of these mass shootings are bing directed to lead to confiscation. This was not a problem like 10 years ago or more. Now all of a sudden it happens every 3 months. I don’t think these are spontaneous shootings anymore.

I have never had somebody pull a gun on me but I would deal with it daily rather than be at the mercy of the government.
