Why would my crush who i'm not really close with get off his train, wait 10 min and get on mine just to see me before he leaves on vacation?

I was on the train (like metro) and we were texting about something for a bit and it turned out he was also in the same direction but on another train. So he texted me if I wanted him to switch to mine so we see eachother for a bit but I didn't see his text. Then in a bit he came up to me in my train and he seemed actually nervous. And we're not really that close so it was really out of the blue. I'm still confused.

Well a possibility is that he likes you too, and sometimes it feel’s exciting to do things lile that wich one wouldn’t do normally, especially if a girl is involved;another reason is that he just missed or was gonna miss you and he wanted to have a fresh memory and maybe even a scene out of a movie -lol 😆
