Girls, Would you date a guy who starts everything at his 30s?

He has to start new career/job. He just started discovering his first hobbies/developing his first skills. He has never travelled (but wants to). He has never had LONG relationships, but has few short term relationships (3-4 months). He still can't cook and drive (even he has drive license), but he is willing to learn.

I am 34 and I wasted my life and I have to make up desperately for everything. The problem is women won't probably forgive me being at this stage at my current age. And I don't want to wait for my relationship until I will improve/fix everything because it could take me until my 40s. I think the only solution is being in relationship and improving my shit (all tgese things) simultaneously, but I am afraf women won't tolerate, because they want a product, not a potentail (especially at my age)

No, if he’s starting everything. But if he has some basic life skills and experiences, then I would consider dating him if I liked everything else about him. For instance, my partner is in his 30’s, when we met he had no job, he was still living with his mother, and he had no drivers license. But he knew how to cook, knew how to clean, and he had a lot of great characteristics and an attractive personality that drew me in. These days, we’ve been together 2.5 years, he works full time, we have our own place together, and though he still doesn’t have a license, we are both actively working towards him getting it.


I believe that there is someone out there for everyone, regardless of how far behind you feel that you are in life. You may meet someone else who is also far behind in life, and you can pair up and work towards your goals together.

If I have to be honest your boyfriend was bigger "loser" when you met him than I am now. I had career, but I left it and I have to find new one. I have 2 degrees. I don't live with my parents, I have drive license (but I haven't drive for 10 years after passing exam), I have my own place to live, I can clean and many girls loved my personality/humour. The problem is I haven't never travelled, can't cook and I just started discovering my first hobbies.
