People tell me I'm very pretty, yet nobody ever wanted to date me?

I often get complimented not only on my looks, but also on how sweet and caring I am. Yet I have never been asked to go on dates ever, not as a teen and not later either. Why?

I'm not irritated. Just being reflecting and stating facts. Most people do date, regardless of looks and behavior.

You have misconstrued. Of course you can't know what I look like or what personality I have. What I was asking was: Why would somebody who is (presumably) good looking and have a pleasant personality not be asked on dates, let alone never have a partner? Of course you can't know what's true in my case since you don't know me. But assuming the statements are true, what could possibly be the reason, as we all know people who are ugly, unattractive, self centered and what not do get dates. They even get partners and start families. How is that even possible?

I haven't misconstrued your question. I just think that answering in general terms about why this might happen to other people doesn't help to understand why it happens to you. It seems that you want your question answered without providing any information about yourself. I decline to do that because it would be a waste of time.

There is a lot of people who don't sadly. As to why is either on them or just other people but one can't really say unless they've self reflected a lot and even then that's got personal bias.

Well if there's no deep conversations between the two then the chances of anything happening are slick, y'all gotta build trust and the only way to do that is opening up to each other through deep conversations, that and time builds bond

So why does everyone else get dating requests? Some are in and out of real relationships, one after the other, even. Many of those are ugly, fat, rude, etc etc, but they are still asked on dates. Some even get married several times. How is it even possible?

It depends on what the other person wants in a relationship. Some just want sex, and that can happen fast and then those relationships are over almost as fast.
It's harder to find a relationship where you find the right person to have a deep emotional connection with.
