Why can’t people understand being rejected doesn't mean anything is wrong with you or is wrong with the person who rejected?

Sure there is reasons that maybe someone should take more personally. But as long as someone wasn’t nasty. Not everyone will be right for you. Find whose your person.

We are all searching for something different. Because someone isn’t your type doenst make them bad and because your not their type does not make them bad. It does not say they judge you as a human being and frankly as they do. Why the hell would you want to be with someone that way anyways?

I think the most disappointing thing is the unwillingness to explore what you’re offering them. Like here I am, we’re halfway there, but for some reason you can’t bring yourself to care.

Especially like when I was younger, you’d see all these girls making dumb, temporary decisions, like there’s just no rationality behind the guys they date, and you know that you’re not that. You knew it wasn’t gonna last. But then, you go in with the best intentions, they don’t respect your advances or have the time for you. In fact, they turn it around on you to make you seem like the bad one.

Like they’re not scared of the damaged, soulless jerk, but all the sudden the good dude comes along that just wants to do things the right way and be her best friend, showing a bit of his own vulnerability, and it’s like she thinks HE’s the one to be worried about.

That’s the mindf*ck , they’ll be your friend until you get too close, but they’ll let all these other questionable guys in closer, even though you know that you’re the well intentioned one. It’s a hard pill to swallow.

That's simple. Because we as people put far too much stock in what other people think of us. This is the main reason why older people tend to handle rejection better than younger. Because as you get older you tend to become more comfortable in your own skin and are more self assured. It becomes less of a personal assessment.

You are correct. I wish more people realized this. That way women wouldn't be terrified whenever they need to reject someone.

I wish it was just accepted as a normal exchange. That feeling of dread I've always felt when I was approached in public, that first, I'm gonna feel really bad and feel really awkward but also just begging in my head there won't be a scene.

Oh women will still reject, as they should, if they don't want to go out with someone. I can tell you though, they're still thinking about the guy causing a scene in public. It is an uncomfortable position to be in. Most women don't even want to be put in that position at all. That's why fake Numbers are given out and some lie about having a boyfriend. It's to make the situation less awkward.

I'm repeating it endlessly here. Rejection is part of the game of dating and relationships. If we join, we must be aware that we can not make it. We can be rejected with or without reason.

And a relationship is a voluntary union, so there is no law forcing us to be in one.

When I unlocked this concept in my own mind it was an absolute game changer in life. I wish I could take the credit for it but a female gal-pal taught me this, along with some other really amazing “insider tips” for meeting and picking up on women. Once a man wraps his mind around this the fear of rejection plummets to near zero. It doesn’t mean you don’t feel disappointment when you get rejected, it just means you realize it has almost literally nothing to do with you.

I actually view being rejected as an opportunity to let my intentions toward her evolve and shift more towards trying to make myself useful to her in a non sexual manner.
