Yes and no. Self awareness and perception is important. However it’s also deceptive. It’s easy to make excuses that hold oneself back. Caring about someone and accepting their excuses is also unhelpful. Sometimes you have force people to be free.

No, I would not wait. I would say " Find me when you're sure you are ready, and maybe the timing will be right". I would never put my life on hold while someone searches to find their "good place".

I also don't agree that all women would NOT expect you to wait. I think some truly would, especially if they give you a time frame.

They would, I agree. And you would be surprised how many men would wait. Which I honestly think is a bad idea.
To be honest, I’m one of those women who will never be ready for a relationship. I would want the guy to move on.

100%.. that has happened to me a few times. I understood completely and didn't think much of it. I had one Women that said she not in a good place.. and we ended up meeting up again, and dated for 3 years.
