The girl I'm dating is taller than me. Is it weird that I have to get used to that?

I'm 5'10" and I've only had shorter girlfriends so far. The girl I'm dating now is 6', which I'd argue is tall for a girl. I still like her very much but yeah that height thing isn't too comfortable for me atm. Any men or women here with similar experiences who care to share their stories?

My current girlfriend is taller than me. It isn't by much. My ex boyfriend is shorter than me by an inch. In both cases it just doesn't matter to me at all. I couldn't care less about the person's height that I am with. I do tend to gravitate to people around my own height (5'7") but would not exclude dating someone much taller or shorter than me. I don't think you have much to worry about and I wouldn't even be thinking about it. While 6' is tall for a girl that hardly should have any bearing on your relationship with her.

My daughter is tall and she dates a guy who is smaller than she :D
They don't see it as an issue (16 and 17 y. o.) so I think you also don't have to.

It's between you and your girlfriend if you feel good and comfortable or if the height difference is an issue

Try finding pride in it, so it's a positive. I think guys who date women taller than them look confident, since they don't let something like that get to them. Most that I know that have usually are to a degree.

There's a positive outlook you can have about it.

Nope average height for a girl is 5'4"- 5'6" and average height for a male is 5'7"- 5' 9" but it's always different considering how populated the earth

It's not a big deal really. If you two like each other and have great chemistry, don't let something insignificant like height difference tear you apart.
