So been talking to this guy for almost three years met in college as freshman but later on he switched and I stayed there been talking but nothing serious is going on then we kinda got closer via chat and been talking and he expressed how much he liked me and all but when I asked where is this heading he said he can't get into a rls and he wants to be free like the bird so I said cool sure I understand why not a week after which is today he texted me out of the blue do u like me or not I said yes he was like great me too as if am talking to two different people like should I invest or just drop him

Well, if he changed his mind I’d hope he’d have the balls to tell you but I don’t think that’s the case here. What’s going on is you’ve developed feelings that are unrequited, and rather than accepting his decision you’re treating it as an obstacle — no offense.

Would you really want to wait around for if he maybe one day changes his mind? Don’t you want to be someone’s first choice, right now? I know his decision is disappointing but I think you can do a lot better than investing more time into hopes and dreams.

you could just tell him you’re confused and ask him one more time what’s up. i just usually equate mixed signals to a lack of interest. or at least, i personally won’t put up with it. you could also just stop talking to him and see what happens

Stop being played like a sucker. No contact and forget being played like a fool. People will take what you give them and you have no self worth or self love to be by yourself and to find someone who actually wants to be with you. Go read about 50 books on self love and psychology watch a lot about it on Youtube and probably in 6 months to a year you'll REALLY be ready for a REAL relationship where you aren't a codependent nitwit
