How to overcome fear of approaching women?

Being a male virgin at 25, I fear I’ll be faced with incessant rejection. And a bad reputation for asking too many out. I feel like almost every woman I ask out who is even close to my age (21-29) will be repelled by me for this reason alone.

It makes me almost not even want to try dating. But at the same time, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. How to overcome my fear and do it anyway? And in today’s society, how should I even go about doing it?

1. Practice a skill that can be helpful to them.

An example: suppose you are in grad school and a coed is having problems with her studies. Approach where she is studying and say, "Here, I know how to solve that (math problem)..." and offer your help.

2. If you don't have a professional job yet, get a job where you have to interact with people - customer service face to face, retail, handling complaints. Enough practice with real people with whom you have no relationship interest, and it will help you converse with ladies with whom you do have a relationship interest.

3. Or just get involved in your own thing and not worry about talking to them because what you are doing will appeal to them.
Another example: I know one friend who rode a motorcycle to and from school. He had young women asking him about it all the time. And it was hardly a fancy or top of the line motorcycle, far from it. Add a spare helmet for her, offer her a ride, and there you go...

Practice. Before you overcome rejection you need to feel comfortable talking to women. So if you're buying something at a store and the cashier is female ask her a question like "Where's the closest coffee shop?" or at a restaurant, as the waitress "What is your favorite thing on the menu?" Start a conversation as if she's in the friendzone. DO NOT TRY TO GET A PHONE NUMBER. Just a quick question and move on. Do this as many places as you can. You need to practice getting comfortable talking to women first and then approaching will become natural. It's basically practicing to not be a creep. You should be able to compliment a woman about her outfit when your out in public and not come off as a creep, and when you can start a conversation and keep it going, you will have an easier time asking women out. Be a good guy and you'll attract a decent woman
