I told my boyfriend I love him and he didn’t say anything, is this normal?

I had this talk with my girlfriend. She told me the same thing. I told her that whatever feelings she had for me I felt twice as strongly but I don’t want to say that yet. That seemed to make her happy.

If it’s very early stages of the relationship, then yes I’d say that’s normal and he’s likely not ready to say it back to you yet. But if you’ve been together for a while and he has said it back previously but won’t say anything now, then no that’s not normal.
