Are people who constantly talk about why they love being single.. secretly desperate?

Single life isn't necessarily lonely life. I like relationships when the right woman comes along. I've had some really great ones in my life. I'm not going to cease to exist or implode when they end though. You can't make another person happy if you can't make yourself happy. My life is amazing. I'd like someone to share it with. It may be someone for the evening/week/month/years... just have to see. It's still going to be an amazing life whether someone else is there to share it with or not though.

Most of the time people are burned out by disappointments/hurt or wrong people, so of course focusing on your own happiness as a single human is better and essential generally speaking until there is someone who can add more to it. But yes there are some people who may be saying it to try to convince themselves or the world they’re happy single and not really.

No single doesn’t mean lonely. Being in a relationship requires a lot work from both parties, so much responsibility toward each other, obtaining personal space is not always possible in a relationship.
