What is the most money you have ever spent on a date and what is reasonable for you?

It can be for a first date or anywhere down the line. Just curious since someone stated nothing crazy and then said around 500 which is insane to me. So I’m just curious to where everyone’s compass is on that

Probably about $2,000. Got tickets on the secondary market to a Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees game up in the then-new seats they built on top of Fenway Park’s famous “Green Monster” left field wall, and it was 2004 when the Sox would go on to win their first World Series title in the lifetime of almost everyone alive in our city. Just the hottest ticket in town. And I was dating a SUPER hot chick at the time, plus I was on my Boston George shit at the time, slinging weed to half of UMass, indirectly. And the entire football team hadn’t smartened up yet to all throw in on a bulk amount, so I was just serving them dubs all day long, to my extreme profit. 🎶We know you got a brick but sell ‘em 20s til they tired🎶 So I had some money to burn, haha, and burn it I did.

So I took this gal to the game, we rubbed shoulders with a few celebrities (ex-New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman tried to holler at my chick, true story. Invited her to The Omni Parker House where she was staying. I would’ve understood if she went…shit, make a connection😂)

So, probably $1,600 for the seats, took her to dinner, brought a HUGE knot with me just to show off, lmfao, was buying hats and t-shirts at the souvenir stands, etc. We had a great time. Sox lost but Kevin Millar had three homeruns, and one landed right near us. Local sportscaster Bob Lobel tried to pick my girl up too (good thing I brought all that money😂), drunk as a skunk, lmao, but he hung out with us for an inning and got us a round of beers, so that was cool.

Only downside…. if I had tickets for the NEXT DAY, we would’ve seen the most iconic brawl in our city’s sports history.

On a first date, most is couple hundred, but it lasted about 12 hours. Most of my first dates are coffee/drinks, and if I'm paying that's typically $10-15 for coffee, more for drinks. If she invited me I don't always know how much she spent, but I would suspect it somewhere similar in cost. For "down the road" dates, I've had several go into the few thousand dollar range, but they were usually for important occasions. That said, I've been on literally thousands of dates so I can't say I remember all of them.

I really haven't paid for dates, especially expensive ones, and try not to pry into how much is being spent. But I have seen a dinner tab at a nice restaurant with pre, during and after dinner drinks with dessert be over $500 before tip. We also went to Cirque de Soleil with nice seats, do however much that adds.

My most expensive date was attending a performance of "The Book of Mormon" musical. It was a show she really wanted to see and we had been dating for several months. I was fortunate to get seats in the second row, perfect for viewing the play. They cost me about $500.

A more typical date is dinner and a movie, which can cost around $100, maybe $150.

Well I’ve been w my girl for 15 years. But yes I still take her out on dates. So don’t know if this counts but about $2000 for one night for dinner in Vegas then center stage to the Bruno Mars concert, 8 row I believe. One of the best shows in my opinion.

About $150.00, and as is most often the case, it wasn't a date for her and myself, but for and another guy she was dating at the time. I find it more exciting to pay for her dates with other guys than almost anything else, so that often causes me to spend more on those dates.

Most a girl has spend on a date with me was be something similar. While vacationing in Australia she took me for a private flight over the Great barrier reef.

Never go for a girl who expects you to pay for everything. Major red flag.

Dates should be about the experience, talking, enjoying each other’s company and just having fun. Not about the money you spend.

First date or second date, next to nothing. That is how I weed out those who are only in it for the free food. After that I can drop $300 or more depending upon what we do. The most though, was taking a girl from The Netherlands to Disneyland/California Adventure because she had never been. All told probably about $800 but it gave her a lifetime of memories.

I spent $700 last week on my girlfriend's birthday party which was really a group f*** party. There was three women and two men for 5 days absolutely no clothes just a big free for all. But when a Time come for everybody to show up she had used the $700 to pay for her apartment so there was no party. We talked later and she finally admitted to it.
