Girls, Is it normal for someone I've seen for over a month to only call every few days?

She only calls every few days. And when we talk we talk a long time and it usually leads to phone sex. She says she hopes we can be a couple in the future. Is this normal or am I rushing it.

First, you have to define what you mean under "someone I see". Is it a long distance relationship and you only see each other via electronic media? Is it someone you meet in person regularly?

What is highly disturbing is not so much the frequency that SHE calls but the fact that you don't mention whether YOU call as well. In the descriptive, it seems that you leave it up to her to call and that you don't take the initiative yourself to call.

That fact alone leads me to believe that this relationship is not meant to last very long. Another very disturbing fact is that this conversation leads to phone sex which, to me, is a total red flag as it seems that you two have no other topics of conversation than pornography.

I would say that it is time to sever this type of relationship.

I do call her daily. But if it's during the day she won't answer. We do have very long conversations 4 hours before phone sex. She is my ex from 10 years ago. She just agreed to go on a date with me for valentines day.

Perhaps that she believes that calling 2 or 3 times a week is enough. Talk to her if you feel that she does not talk to you enough or that she does not initiate the calls herself.
