Lovestruck acquaintances do help with filtering out the bad ones. The creepy men hitting you up online also give you a taste of the ulterior motives that guys IRL can have, and it does check out. I filter out the men I don't want by simply taking my time. It's not like I want to play the game hard to get, but I am not one of the people who goes head over heels because our first conversation was nice or a date or two went well. They kinda filter themselves out because they want to be in a relationship right away, or sex right away. Looks matter to an extent, but those do not last. Personality is important. Got groped, the guy was handsome. He's not used to people saying no and because of his looks he thought he can do whatever he wants. I hate people like him. I'm on my guard if the guy's good looking.
