Friends With Benefits End It Or Keep It?

I was wondering how long friends with benefits arrangements should last and how to know when to end it. Also can this be messing up finding your soulmate?

So never done the friends with benifits stuff but hear about people that have. Not a single one has said it was a good idea after it ended. The most common thing I hear is one person developing feelings and the other person doesn't. Then the whole dynamic gets screwed up because the one person with feelings wants more and the other becomes awkward because he/she knows this now. That is the most common problem I have heard of. As for how long it should last? As long as you both want I suppose. I have never heard of someone placing a time limit on that sorta relationship. It could definitely mess up finding a permanent partner because you aren't looking or focusing on that nearly as much as when you are single. That part of a relationship (the sex part) is satisfied so there isn't pressing need.

Some people have no problem with it. Most are too insecure to deal with the situation. I don't know what side you are on.

There are no rules. If you're spending too much time with a friends with benefits it absolutely could prevent you from being out and potentially meeting your soulmate.
