I feel like it’s beasically the same unless the man is unfit and unhealthy. I think I read it begins to decline at 40.

I don't really know what health has to do with the age at which a man is able to procreate.

It may be as healthy for a man but certainly not for a woman and even less for the children of elderly couples.

The older parents get, the more risky it becomes for the health of children as the risk for genetic problems arise.

Also, people tend to forget that children born to older parents will have a much harder time as they grow older. The larger the age gap is between parents and children, the more it may lead to misunderstanding in the teenage years of those children. It is like having a parent that is in the age group of grandparents.

In terms of physical health, I don't think that there is much of a problem for a man to have children later in life but I am not certain about all the rest.

Not necessarily. Just like with women, studies have found links to an increase in adverse pregnancy outcomes once the father turns 35. And the risk for those adverse outcomes increases every year after 35. The reasoning is that the quality of the sperm starts to mutate at that age, and continues to do so even more every year.

Not sure why you'd think it would be a problem for a man's health. I had two of mine after I was 40 with no problems.
