I desperately need answer. Is it a rejection?

Our class is small, in about 10 people only and we are so close with eo. Suddenly just now the lecturer start to tease each of us. Then she ask A (assume that’s his name) if he is single and he say yes. Then she say “oh you have B (assume that’s me)” and his respond is “ermmm” he didn’t say yes or no. But i was thinking, that might be a rejection? Because later on the lecturer was like “oh i approve both of y'all together” yada3.. and after the class end, he still manage to act normal and ‘sweet’ as usual.

I keep thinking what that “erm” might mean

You expect us to believe your professor asked a male student to date you publicly for no reason? He isn't afraid getting sued for sexual harassment yet he is intelligent enough to work as a professor? It's obvious to me you have a brain injury and nobody believes your fake questions pretending to be me.

“Pretending to be me” excuse me? I ain't pretending to be anyone else. And also, this quest is not fake, it literally happened

Actually the lecturer did ask me and i have him before asking him. I say no, i say so is because im afraid if i say yes, he didn't feel so. But i didn't mean it. But im 100% sure he didn't hear what i say at that time

I do realise that. But im here asking to just make sure. If that is not a rejection from him, it might actually be a yes. Then i will confront him about this n might make a move. But if its a clear rejection, then i dont want to
