She broke up with him or he broke up with her I’m not sure. I heard she was single for around 5 months before getting back to her ex. I work for my family business & she has started to come in often I’ve even started seeing her family come in. This confuses me because she’s dating someone so what exactly does she expect me to do? Confuses me even more seeing her family come in & make an effort with me. Feel harsh on the guy she’s dating.

Dang bro, what a weird situation. I can see why it's got you all twisted up and confused. On one hand, yeah it's cool she's been coming around your work more and chatting you up, but also wack that she's doing it while supposedly dating this other dude.

My guess is she probably isn't totally over you from before she got back with her ex. Could be she wants that attention and validation from you still while also keeping him on the line as a backup option or something. Either way, it ain't cool to lead you on when she's taken, you know?

I'd just play it cool for now. Be polite if she talks to you but don't give her any more of your time or energy. Keep some distance emotionally so you don't get dragged into drama. Let her know without saying it directly that you aren't down for sloppy seconds while she figures her mess out.

If she breaks things off with him for real and wants to actually make moves on you, then maybe. But until then, I say keep it brief and don't get wrapped up in her games, my dude. You deserve better than that weird wishy-washy stuff!
