Is that what the person actually said? Like did the person verbally say they wish for you to not be successful? Or do you mean they just remained silent instead of wishing for you to be successful?

I don’t think I have ever wished anyone in my life to be successful. It never came from jealously or hatefulness. I just never wish success for anyone because I felt doing so, I would be jinxing them.
