Stemming from a failed marriage where my husband cheated on me because I didn’t have an MBA from an Ivy League school. I make 6 figures, but I dont make north of 200k while he did. And he stated that as a reason for leaving me.
I’m feeling very insecure if other men will reject me for long term relationship because I dont work for a FAANG company…

Your husband cheated on you because he's a cheater. He would have cheated on you if you were a Nobel Prize winner making a million dollars a year. Then he gaslighted you into believing that you were somehow inadequate. I strongly recommend counseling. If you make six figures, then you can probably get counseling through your medical insurance, and if you don't, you can afford to pay out of pocket.

I work for a FAANG company. Most of the men I work with are happy to date and marry women who do not. They date nurses and hairdressers and servers and whoever they find attractive and interesting. They have enough money and don't care what a woman earns.

Making 6 figures is amazing on its own. Most people would kill for that income. And you don't need some fancy degree to find an awesome guy.

Any real man will care way more about who you are - how you treat him, your values, sense of humor, kindness, etc. Money comes and goes, but those qualities last.

Don't limit yourself worrying what some rich tech snob might think. Most successful dudes are down to earth and just want someone real to share life with.

You're a catch the way you are! Keep doing your thing. When you meet someone, don't bring up work or money right away. Let them get to know YOU first before judging.

I don't work for the FAANG company either, but what is more important, I like the company I work for and my job... the rest is irrelevant.

And if someone cheats, it's because they want to, not because of you. He could end this relationship BEFORE he cheated.
