Is the fact that I’m almost 21 and never been on a real date something for me to be concerned about?

I’ve had a boyfriend in the past, but it wasn’t anything serious and we didn’t go out on dates or anything. I’ve also been in the talking stage with some guys but it never turned into anything.

It'll happen. Don't worry about it. By today's definition I probably had more dates than I realised. I love to cook and I'd invite a girl over for dinner then we'd go for a long walk in the moonlight and then I'd take her home.

It's quite possible I missed a signal but I don't regret the time I spent with those girls.

The lack of experience will certainly make starting a relationship more difficult and clunky but at the same time your lack of experience would be considered desirable in a lot of men.

My standards are that he’s nice, funny, takes care of himself, and doesn’t expect me act like his mom. That’s the bare minimum. If that’s too high for guys to reach, that’s just sad.
