I don't see the difference.
You do realise that the person you might meet in real life might have a dating app on their phone right?

It's just another medium for meeting people that's all.
You should never trust strangers on principle alone. Instead take the time to get to know them and build trust

I'm not trusting like you and I really want to find someone special but I don't know how to do it. I am not in social environments. There are no female employees at my workplace. There are very few of them and they are older than me and married. How do you find a suitable man for you?

[Anonymous]

No. Most women are on dating apps simply for validation, or to find that unicorn. This I why I do not message women on dating apps first. If a woman makes the first move there's a much higher probability that she's serious. I recommend all guys do this.

It doesn't matter where I meet someone. I trust them as well as I know them. Just met them? I'm not going to take much risk.

I believe that they're real and some are actually looking for a relationship. Yet, they're on a dating app for a reason, and you should know why before trying anything.

I've never been on one of those sites so I do not have a clue.

To some degree but I wouldn’t dislose my deepest darkest secrets to them unless we were in a relationship

[shortster]

I never begin to trust people on dating apps until I meet them in person.

From what I’ve heard, mostly no
