How would men calm down the women that they care about if they had a bad dream?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because I wanted to know how would men calm down the women that they care about if they had a bad dream and please no inappropriate opinions and please appropriate opinions

I would ask her if she’s ok and then have her tell me the dream. By her saying what happened it allows her to process it and know it was just a dream. I would be calm and reassuring and remind her that I care about her and that she can fall asleep again. Might inject some humor if I see she’s not still terrified. Or will get her a snack and cuddle watching a movie if she’s too scared to fall asleep.

That time it happened, I just let her bury her face in my chest and stroke her hair 'till she feel asleep again.
