What do you expect on a 2nd date?

We held hands on a first date, we French kissed and we are meeting up for the 2nd time this week. He’s a really nice and an attractive guy.

I don’t want to give him false signals though, I won’t go any further than a kiss until we are exclusively dating.

So what’s that you usually expect from a 2nd date?

I personally don’t feel someone should go any farther then kissing until married. But nonetheless. I think it’s best to not expect anything. I think it’s good to know what you want and don’t want out of a man as well as a relationship.

But keep in mind it’s the second date. You’re still trying to see if you’re compatible or not. Sometimes people get too many things in their head and plan out exactly how the date is going to go and when one thing doesn’t go right the entire night is ruined.

If he tries pushing for anything you’re not ready for. Just tell him that you’re not wanting to do that yet. If he’s pushing for sex on the first or second date. That’s probably either all he’s looking for or he’s very promiscuous and will probably cheat. People who sleep around a lot most likely cheat at some point or another.

I think you should just see how the date goes. Then go from there

Basically the same as the first date , you are still in the getting to know each other More phase, if you already made out with him , he is more than likely going to want to make out with you again he might even try to have sex with you , but that’s going to be up to you as well, on whether you want to or not. There really isn’t a time limit when it comes to sex , if you both feel a great connection with each other then one things leads to another , so again that’s up to you , but the truth is , he already wants to have sex with you or he wouldn’t be asking you on a date

The second date you’re still getting to know eachother… by the 3rd date you should be talking about what it is you both want and making sure you’re on the same page…. In my opinion

And please don’t fall in love with him and start imagining life with him until he’s proved himself worthy… this is only the second date…

By month 3-6 is when you can slowly start to think ahead… but never too much ahead

French was giving out a lot. You two must have a lot of chemistry. It might be hard to hold that off for many more dates.
It really does depend on what you both feel, as it's not something you can plan.

On the 2nd date we are still getting to know each other and learning to relax in each others company. There should be no expectations on a second date, that type of thing puts pressure on both sides that they must meet social expectations, which is really crap.
I expect a more relaxed and fun conversation, getting to know a bit more about each other, remembering her name is a thing now, as I’ve had plenty first dates and can’t remember her name.
for me this is when I hope to start getting some sort of emotional connection going, I try to avoid any intimacy until I have that, or a kiss has no feeling behind it (never mind anything else).

There should be no expectations on any date if you are truly interested in that person then just go in looking forward to seeing them and spending some quality time together. Just enjoy each other's company and whatever happens happens. Go with the flow as they would say

You already moving way fast. Firstly soon as date comes into play it is exclusive. Second a 1st date in my opinion is simply to see if you can tolerate each other, have things in common and have something resembling chemistry. Date 2 is where you delve further into things and start to learn about each other. Date 3 should be similar to date 2 but more vulnerable and emotional. Dates 4+ are where things take on that serious level.

If you were French kissing on the first date I would assume this guy would expect the same plus a little extra on the second date… maybe a little touching. I never have any expectations. If she let me kiss her on the first date, I’ll definitely kiss her and maybe get a little “touchy feely” and see how she reacts to that. I certainly am not thinking about having sex with her. I believe most girls give signs that a guy can pick up on, as far as how far they’re willing to go. It’s a natural progression of dating.
