My bfs brother never says hello to me and doesn't agknowledge me? What’s up with his rudeness?

When my boyfriend and I first started dating his older brother would always message me all the time and was very friendly and helpful. He would also say negative things about his younger bro (my boyfriend) as well at times….

He never says hello to me ever in person or at family gatherings and never even said happy bday to me or ever talks to me anymore.

what’s up with his rudeness? Does he hate me? Or is jealous of his younger brother?

He is jealous, as i`m sure you look better than his wife, so when he "firstly" start to give you attention, that was for him to see how "hard/easy" was to get to you... now that he seen that he cannot do anything about it and "you won't budge" then he turn the tables and is giving you the "ingnorance card", and that also should confirm it, hence he was giving his own brother "the bad look/reputation"... trust me... been there, done that... had a step brother doing that to me with my "x" wife... giving her compliments, etc, etc while he was "busy" himself... now they don`t talk...(or maybe they do) who knows (and i don`t know) :)

He may have liked you in the first place, but know that you are with his brother he doesn't want to come off as trying to move in on his brothers territory.

He likely doesn't have to back off that much though.

It's always a possibility the younger brother said something to the older brother and that's why he's back off too.

Sounds like he is jealous of his younger brother and secretly likes you and this is his way of dealing with it, probably wishes he got you before getting married and having kids. Not much you can do
