He says I am rude and doesn't want to talk to me. Am I the asshole?

I have to be honest but I was a little rude to him. But I did say sorry 3 times, It's just my nature. The first time he said in a soft way that I was being a little rude and he'd like me to be a little nicer, I did call him names that was pretty bad but I thought I was joking. I then did it a second time and he got a firmer saying that I he already said to stop being rude. I think he's over reacting all I said that he was pathetic sometimes and lame but that's it. I then said sorry a third time and he said that he had enough and now he's ignoring me and not talking to me. He told me that he didn't take disrespect from anyone and said have a nice life. Am I in the wrong here? He also said he didn't want to be my friend. Am I in the wrong for being a little mean. I did say sorry 3-4 times so it should be okay right?

Yeah you are the AH. He legit told you more than once to stop and you wouldn't respect him or his wishes. Instead you were further rude and quite disgusting in calling him lame and pathetic. What you think and believe are jokes, were clearly not jokes at all.

Also saying sorry and than going and doing the same shit repeatedly. Nobody will accept an apology because you aren't sorry at all.
