What are your thoughts on the new Drizzle Drizzle men's soft guy era movement?

Drizzle drizzle soft guy era is the male response to sprinkle sprinkle , which was a movement by women embracing more traditional gender roles where men are expected to be providers and women focus on “embracing their feminine” which usually means adherence to strict beauty standards, emotional labor, and sometimes domestic work. Men saying "Drizzle drizzle" just flips the script on gender roles. (basically “see how YOU like it”)

It's also a response to the TikTok women who say "don't date broke men" or "a man needs to pay for dates and my bills." The drizzle drizzle movement by men in 2024 is only dating financially stable women and having them pay for dates/the man's bills. What say you?

lol I read that in a comical tone and I don't know I just like the whole post now because of that. I have no opinion on the movement and I accept it as fact. Even if it is fact all across the board. I still live my life according to what’s logical. Men can’t do that. If they want to “flip the script.” It’s just my proof my man never loved me and it’s proof some men out there are either hating the male dominant world or they’re gay.

Probably a good handful with valid emotions and hurts but they’re going about it in an immature way.

Men always had trouble listening to women, hearing them out… sooo for them to do this is just gluing up ears and turning a blind eye. Or whatever. I would just have to choose not to associate with such men. Unless I’m not dating and I just observe their decisions and hear their train of thought on all of that. I’d like to even observe their dating life with women moving forward in that. I wouldn’t ever get involved with one though.

Im married so if my husband just randomly did this with no communication or consideration. Some compromise even. I’d have to try yelling at him or ignoring him lol. I don’t think he ever would. Our relationship doesn’t have this gender problems. We look out for each other and neither of us waited for the other to do it first or whatever. 🤷‍♀️ So I guess we lucked out.

I think it's silly. All of these men claiming to be "real men" but also want to reject the entire system of "real manhood" which requires men to provide, defend, and guide.

So which is it? Do you want traditional masculinity or not?

It just makes zero sense to me. All the red pill idiots. All the conservatives. All the men with fragile masculinity want to embrace "manhood" but don't want to embrace the root of it all which is men's relative place in evolutionary terms as providers defenders and guides.

And what do these women want? They just men to degrade them and fuck them like base animals and see women as inferior beings. They get off on that.

But they're mad because they don't want to be inferior they want to be equals but equality is impossible when being a "real" man or woman means very specific things like traditional gender roles demand.

So basically everyone is fighting against traditional gender roles, even those who claim to believe in it are fighting against it.

I don't think it's a movement. I think it's just a bunch of guys talking crap online. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think the "drizzle drizzle" guys really mean what they say. They're just making fun of "sprinkle sprinkle" women. Again, nothing wrong with that.

For that matter, "sprinkle sprinkle" isn't a movement either. It's a bunch of mostly overweight, middle-aged women fantasizing online about having a sugar daddy. Which seems pointless, but whatever.

So really the whole thing is just a bunch of people in the internet bubble, talking about talking. If that's how they want to spend their time, more power to them.

It all boils down to DNA, biology and millions of years of human evolution. Based on this, men and women have different roles in the family unit (a unit that is the nucleus of human survival without which we would not be here to discuss it). The roles are clearly defined by these biological and evolutionary differences. Men are designed to provide, protect and handle the physically challenging tasks and women are designed to bear children and take the primary role in raising them to an age when they can fend for themselves.

You can deny it, you can hate it, you can have seizures about it, but reality does not change just to conform to fantasies. So all of these diversions are fantasy.

Ever hear of Purnal Goldy? (I know you haven't, because Goldy played MLB in the early 60's, when even I was a little chap.) Anyway, Goldy, briefly a Detroit Tiger in 1962, had a good week, faded, was sent to the minors and disappeared... until the 80's when we discovered that the handsome Goldy had wed an heiress. So perhaps Goldy was one of the first "Drizzle Drizzle dudes.(Why do these "movements" have dumb names?) I could have wed a rich broad had I found one willing to marry me, and with my still-boyish good looks at 70, I bet I could even today. (In other words, I'd LOVE to be a "Drizzle Drizzle" dude, boyos !!!)
