That's so arrogant, in my opinion. And yes, I think it's very shallow. Obviously, I wouldn't date or want someone who is an unemployed deadbeat, but really?

Questions I'd privately be searching for answers to are: Does he have drive, a desire to learn and grow, determination with ethics, and the ability to think critically? Is he a sprinter or a marathoner (figuratively speaking)? Does he invest in rest, so in that his play and work he gives his personal best? Is he truthful and kind? Can he take feedback without being insulted, and can he give it without demeaning people? No one is perfect, but willingness to grow and learn make all the difference between a decent guy and great guy.
