People put too much importance into those feelings of infatuation. I know it feels great to have that feeling but it means nothing in terms of whether that person is going to be a good and compatible partner for you.

Too many people believe in the Disney fairy tale idea of what a relationship should be like, which leads them to get into relationships with people they have no long-term compatibility with, and, no surprise, it usually ends badly.

Your feelings shouldn't be COMPLETELY ignored, but they also should definitely not lead your actions and decision-making, because feelings have no wisdom and no concept of time - feelings only care about the immediate moment and getting what they want THIS MINUTE, and they will happily guide you to your doom to get it.

In order to avoid constant bad outcomes, you must choose partners and otherwise make decisions based primarily on logic and reason, rather than feelings. Many people don't want to hear that, but it's the truth.

And to answer your question directly, it's very rare for both people to feel that spark for each other. Usually only one of the two have those intense feelings for the other.

When the other person feels it you most definitely feel it. It's impossible not to. Magnetic.
Generally one person is going to like the other more it's just how it goes with matching any two completely different people. Some lucky couples just click. Doesn't mean they won't have their disagreements, but that only keeps things from getting boring.

By two, unless you are confusing it with limerence in which case it is felt by one and the erroneous idea they have formed in their heads about that specific person.
Which means that they have managed to fall for something false that doesn't even exist.

In my OPINION chemistry is never a one-sided thing. I think that if one person feels a spark, the other needs to feel it too. Because that's how chemical reactions work; both elements or molecules are impacted by the reaction.

Now... whether both people are willing to acknowledge that spark is a different question. But I do think they both feel it.

If there's chemistry it usually means there's a lot of similarities in terms interests, views, sense of humor, goals in life, physical attraction, sexual compatibility, communication, etc. That usually means both people feel it. Whether they both admit it or not is another story. I think girls a lot of the time tend to prioritize money or financial situation over compatibility.

It's hard to describe when it's mutual, but there's a difference.

It's something for me that I feel in my. gut, and validate with how well I get on with the other.

It can also begin as a little flame of curiosity and roar up into a bonfire of chemistry.

Chemistry is combination of individually unique characteristics of one person seem to seemlessly effortlessly match n compliment there others equally unique personality... chemistry is that inegstingishable fire set a blaze when just the right amount of particular ingredients are blended in that special way.. n. only when combined under certain set of circumstances applying the right pressure or friction that causes a significantly more vibrant reaction.. fireworks like never before seen!!!

In my opinion anything is possible but 99% of the time it's rejection from one side that makes the other party want that person more. In cases where both people are disencouraged from being together by a social barrier or religious barrier like rich - poor, Christian - Muslim, these elements can make both parties determined to be together. A classic example is Romeo and Juliet.

It SHOULD be felt by both people if something further is meant to happen. If it’s only one sided then the person who feels the chemistry is a little doomed to be in love with someone who doesn’t feel the same way for them.

Good chemistry connects well and creates mutual establishment. Bad chemistry blows up or has adverse effects. Do both people feel chemistry? No. If one feels it and the other doesn't, then that's going to either blow up or time will tell when the other will mesh well. I believe we know when we have good chemistry aside from what could be perceived as bad just by physical attractiveness to mental stimulus.

It can be mutual (rarely), but I think in most cases it’s one sided. One person is usually going to want the other person more.
