Conflict adverse is when you avoid conflict and don’t confront someone if you’re having an issue with them. Confrontation is when you tell them about your issue with them.

I’m naturally confrontational. After dozens of fist fights and hundreds of arguments, having settled little to nothing, i had to reel it in. I wish i could honestly say that i reasoned my way into betterment. The reality is that my last fist fight left me useless to myself and my contractor for almost four days, and more than a little afraid i would end up in prison. Either one could have shook me out of my lunkhead alone. That four days alone with my thoughts and fears and all the ice & ibuprofen i could find was my “moment of reckoning”. I still want to hurt every idiot and asshole i meet. I just don’t.
