Should I tell this girl off who led me on? She led me on then tried to make me feel crazy once I reciporcated as if she never liked me. When she said she liked me more then friends & kept trying to hang out all the time and would always compliment me and flirt with me, said she would date me & once I reciporcated she acted like she was only being friendly and has no idea where I got it from.

Ugh, that's super annoying dude. Girls can really mess with your head sometimes. On one hand, I get why you want to say something to call her out. It's not cool how she led you on and then acted like you were being crazy. But honestly, my advice would be not to tell her off or start anything dramatic. That'll just make you look mad and give her what she wants - to see you all upset. Plus it probably won't make you feel any better.

My suggestion would be to just distance yourself from her. Don't give her any more of your time or attention. Act like you're totally over it and unbothered. That'll drive her nuts way more than getting into an argument! Plus it'll save you from looking childish. I'd just be friendly if you see her, but don't go out of your way to hang or talk anymore. Then she'll know you're not buying her BS. Hopefully she'll realize how she messed up. But even if she doesn't, at least you didn't stoop to her level. Just focus on other girls and having fun bro! She's not worth wasting your energy on being mad.

I wouldn't waste my energy confronting or questioning her. I'd just stay away from her and move on. Keep it pleasant but no attention, no conversation and no time spent.

I agree that if she blatantly says things like “I would date you” or “I like you more than friends”, only to retract those comments is wrong on her end. But I don’t know if it warrants telling her off because at the same time, there’s also mention of her only being suggestive. You say she “acted like” abc, not verbally denounce having feelings for you or treating you crazy. To which I’d say that while yes she wasn’t completely right, you were also acting off of certain impressions rather than solid, vocalized facts, and that’s something you should take accountability for.


My biggest advice would be to learn from this so that it doesn’t happen again, distance yourself from her and do your best to move on.

So why did you say she “acted like” it? In any case, I do think a certain amount of accountability is fair. To be strung along, you’ve got to be going along with a persons antics. If I were you, I would’ve been done the first time I felt like she wasn’t being genuine, even the second. She was wrong for her part absolutely, but having been in this matters too.
