I accidentally led a girl on?

So I liked this girl and we started flirting a lot. But after awhile it wasn't getting very far and my feelings sort of went towards another girl. I know that sounds like a jerk, and I don't want to become a disrespectful guy that takes advantage of and plays with a girl's feelings, but at the same time I don't really have feelings for this girl anymore. We are not dating but I would feel really bad if she hears about me asking another girl out after the two of us were flirting. How do I move forward with out being a jerk and still maintaining a gentleman like manner?

You met her, hung out with her and got to know her, but then found you didn't like her. That happens. It's a part of life.

Yes, she might be a little hurt. But I would honestly rather have a guy be honest about how he feels rather than him pretend to like me and then move on. I would just tell her that while she seems nice, you aren't really sure there is any chemistry.

Just leave it at that. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to date a particular girl.

I think you can tell her you are interested in another person, that way you don't depleat her from finding a man that can give her what she really needs.

If you weren't officially dating, then I wouldn't worry about it. You were only flirting. But if it didn't go anywhere, then I wouldn't worry about it.
