It's not just you. It's most men that I know and it's definitely me. I feel exactly the same way. Dating is not worth the expense and time and it is a huge risk. Legally. If I want sex I just pay for it directly. If I was dating all I would be doing was paying for it indirectly anyway.

A lot of people, men and women both tend to feel that way. A lot of it comes from the fact that majority of dating is done on dating apps. Dating apps were heavily flawed from the start and were only based around making a lot of money. Our best interests were obviously not taken to heart.

The entire premise of dating apps are superficial and any intimacy and nuance is completely removed.

There's a reason why people pre dating apps had no issues as a whole with dating.
