Interpersonal oral communication is almost a dead art thanks to technology. I'll address written communication though as a teacher. ITS HORRIFIC! Muddled thinking leads to muddled writing. No matter the type of writing requested by us teachers, journalistic, resume/cover letter, solicitation narrative, expository, creative, marketing, business they fuck it up! Please know we TRY so hard to stress how to write for different purposes and practice, practice, practice but sometimes it's just a losing battle.
