We used to talk during last year. After meeting in person he said due to differences in life goals we couldn’t continue to date.

Now everytime we come across each other he literally stares me down with serious face. I wonder why? Also during this year he viewed my instagram story once even though he didn’g follow me.

Alright look, guys can be super confusing sometimes honestly. It kinda sounds like maybe he's still thinking about you if he's always like staring at you all serious when you see him. And checking out your Instagram even though you're not following each other is also kinda weird. If you used to date last year but then he said the whole life goals thing about not continuing, he might be having seconds thoughts about that now.

I'd say the only way you're really gonna know for sure if he's interested again is if you try talking to him. But don't make it obvious that you're wondering about him ya know? Just try to chat like normal, see how he acts around you. If he seems all shy and nervous or keeps finding excuses to hang out, then there's a good chance he might want to give things another try. But he also might just be friendly still since you used to date. It's tough to say for sure without talking to him directly.

I'd say go for it and see how the conversation goes. Hopefully it won't be too awkward between you! But you never know, he could totally have changed his mind since last year and want another chance. Just feel it out first before getting your hopes up. Let me know how it goes if you end up talking to him! Fingers crossed for you!
