No. The only way I would be with a girl that won't have sex with me is if an accident happens to her where she literally can't have sex and EVEN THEN I would expect her to use her hands or mouth.
Sex differentiates a relationship of friendship from having an actual romantic partner. It's means of bonding physically and emotionally and becoming even more intimate. It also gives a feeling of being accepted by your partner.
If you are asexual, it will definitely be tough to find another asexual individual that is also compatible with you
I actually COULD but only under the following circumstances/conditions:
First off, I'd have to REALLY like hanging out with her without having sex.
BUT, as I DO have a powerful drive for sex, I could only do a long-term relationship with her if she's cool with me having sex with other girls. Extra bonus points if she could help me source hot girls to have sex with. So it would be cool if she was actually interested in me having sex with attractive girls even if she didn't have an interest in performing sex herself.
Nah, I have a lot of sex with my girlfriend. That kind of intimacy and connection feels really nice to have in a relationship. Plus it will result in us having kids one day. It’s not like sex is the only thing that matters, but it brings us closer. An asexual girlfriend would be more like a roommate.
No, for me the whole point of the relationship is having monogamous sex on a level that is far beyond everything else. You give each other sexual exclusivity and the thing that sets it apart from just a friendship is he partnership and sex. If you take the sex out thats a big part of the point of it gone. So asexual partners aren't an option for me, I need a partner I am sexually compatible with.
No, not a full on asexual, I would be fine with another demi, although that would be like trying to get 5 coins thrown in the air landing heads up lol.
I think for a lot of people the thought of not having kids would be enough, while a relationship is not all about sex, it does play a large part in them, also it gives you something to do when there is bugger all on tv.
Asexuals have no interest but most of them still do it, so would she still do it or not?
I don't want unenthusiastic starfish sex, and neither do most other dudes.
@DextroShade just invite a sex demon to possess her.
Being friends is always possible, and sometimes probably welcome when it comes to working together, but I don't see the point of a real long-term relationship including living together, if no sex is involved. Mind there may be other reasons for having an asexual relationship, because there are more men than thought less interested in sex. In any case if I do engage into an intimate relationship I expect sex to be part of the engagement.
Well I wish to remain single for life but just for the purpose of answering your question hypothetically.
Yes, I will have no problems in dating a woman who is asexual and has no interest in sex.
Even though my interest in sex is less than most people I still wouldn't go without it completely. If she was demi sexual or so I'd be fine with it but completely asexual is too much.
If she was really cool, I'd help her get medical treatment. 99.9% of asexuality is a treatable medical condition. That.1% is a genetic mishap. I'd take those chances.
Yes, but only if she was at least occasionally engaging in sex with other men. If she wasn't having any sex at all, that would be a turn off for me.
Funny I am personally on a celibacy kick right now. Almost a week with 100% zero sexual activity. No sex, porn, masterbation and complete discipline over my sexual thoughts.
I am going to try to make it 40 days.
That's a friend, not a girlfriend.
Like it or not, physical intimacy and attraction is what separates friends and lovers.
No. The sexual relationship is an important part. Without it it would feel empty. It's the special part that is shared only with that person and expresses something beyond a friendship.
Hell no! That's like asking a woman if she would seriously date a guy who does nothing but hit her up at 1 am asking for sex and never takes her out, buys her anything, talks to her, stays faithful to her, or even does anything else for her.
If I could go back to my "dating years", I would agree to a medium-term relationship with no sex, provided that we were compatible on our viewpoints, and she agrees to having sex once we actually got married
No, as that scenario I would consider a friendship, not a romantic relationship.
Yes since I´m infertile I can´t procreate and my interest in sex isn´t very high.
No as that is a massive part to a relationship and dont see how I could be in one without it
Nope. And a woman wouldn't want to so that either. I've asked this question before to women on here. If you want a pen pal get a pen pal. Cause that's what you're describing.
I don't agree with the pen pal thing because a relationship is usually more than just sex, but to each their own.
Who said anything about sex? Certainly not me. You said "asexual". "Asexual" means feeling no attraction to another person. Well why would someone want to date someone who was not attracted to them. Sorry if you're hung up about intimacy with others.
No chance at all.
What you describe is just being friends. A pal.
Nope. I dated somebody for 4 years that wanted to save it for marriage. That was bad enough
I could manage it. I've got almost no libido anyway. As long as it didn't come with any other hidden consequences.
Clarification required. Would we still have sex? But she just wouldn’t be that into it? I could live with that. The possibility of not having sex is pause for concern.
My wife is asexual. We have sex all the time, I cum and we cuddle. She paticularly likes the post nut cuddling and kisses.
Id be condemning myself to a sexless relationship, and a sexless life, so no.
When asking such questions, consider the 'competition'.
Certainly not preferable by any means… But yes. Sex is not the end goal. Love is.
Personally, I don't look for a sex doll to have a long-term relationship and to get married.
No, I couldn't. Sex, and being desired sexually by my partner, is far too important to me.
PEOPLE THAT ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP USUALLY HAVE SOMETHING SEXUAL ONCE IN A WHILE!!
