My life flashed before my eyes for a few split seconds prior to taking that leap of faith with the man I strongly felt those precious sparks with.
Everything I had done before that moment were calculated & purposeful.
With him, I would throw all caution to the wind.
It turned out that we were (and still are) in sync with the same ideals & interests.
@coachTanthony
Thanks for the MHO. :)
Frank Herbert writes in Dune that "A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct". How apropriate.
But how we lose all care when we see something we want.
The Buddha writes (not the original Magadhi of course) that 'Desire is the root cause of all evil'. Hmm... makes you think...
thank you for the MHO!

I'm not attracted to bad people, no matter their I. Q. or physical fitness.
Sounds good to me. If not the absolute #1 riskiest, it certainly is near the top.
Is that how it works? In that case I'm going to raise all my standards. I vow to never have sex outside of marriage. I vow to never drink. I vow to never do anything fun. I vow to take my girl to church every Sunday. I vow to never bang her behind the pulpit.
Now I just need to wait for the spark, right?
the riskiest moment is when we want to things happen faster... when we don't wait for the natural way of things to happen... we want too much too soon...
false...
the riskiest moment is when you start dating and you're insecure AF... because it makes you lack trust in yourself first, and then others as well
and that sure can lead you into all kinds of trouble
Hey coach, what if you dont have any standards to abandon?
Probably have a better outcome to be honest
That is false Coach, at least for me. I have my morals, and do not abandon them irrespective of the situation I am in!
I never thought about it that way. Maybe. But I think a spark is more important than an arbitrary list of standards.
True, up to a point. It’s not good to have a relationship without any spark.
No sparks here. If you see sparks, abandon ship. Trueee.
Tue this, potentially I've been there or I've maybe had women been that way toward me - they sure never acted on it lol 😹😆
You’ve asked a few questions before about abandoning standards… what’s going on? Folks don’t need to abandon their standards. They need to find someone with the same standards…. Hope you’re ok.
False just because there’s something wrong with the relationship doesn’t mean I am going to get up and go I’d sit down and talk and try to resolve stuff out
Clearly miss understood the post
It's not a big a risk of you feel a spark. Standards are the perimeter fence line. The spark is home and comfort awaiting.
True, and that typically leads to other riskier moments.
Stated Vs revealed preference. If someone says that they won't date X but do then it was never a real standard.
Standards are for boring people.
That's the parts you live for. OTHER
take it slow
