Should I persist in pursuing a girl who seems uninterested?

I've been interested in a girl I've been seeing for a while, so I finally asked her for her number. After getting it, I texted her the first day, but she took a while to reply. I asked if she was available to meet up during lunchtime, but she said she doesn't have a fixed lunchtime. I texted her again, asking about her flexibility hoping maybe we could meet up even after work, but she didn't reply. On the second day, I called her, but I'm not comfortable with phone calls, and it was awkward. On the third day, I met her in person, told her I like her, and asked when she's available. She said on weekends, but I'm not entirely free on weekends unless I plan ahead. I expressed this to her. On the fourth day, I gave her space but called her, and she didn't answer. She called me back, but I was busy, and when I called her later, she didn't pick up. I sent her a text, but she didn't reply. On the fifth day, I ran into her, asked how she was, and she replied but said she was in a hurry. I took it as a sign she didn't want to engage, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. On the sixth day, I didn't contact her. On the seventh day, I sent her a text asking if we could chat, but she didn't reply.

My friends say I should ask her out, but I feel like she's not interested, and I don't want to make things uncomfortable by continuing to chat with her since we see each other almost every day.

She doesn't seem that interested, I would stop and see if she put the effort to contact you. Other than that I wouldn't waste my time on her unless you really want to continue that is up to you

In life if you never try you will never know & as for you I think you tried & now you know. As for you I think you should send her one last message & it should say the following.

I know we just met however would it be ok with you if I ask someone else out?

If she replies yes reply thank you so much, thank you thank you thank you.

If she replies anything other then yes don’t reply at all.

Personally I wouldn't. She's most likely just soaking up your attention. And at best she's entertaining other offers from other guys.

If you want to continue, do so. But pursue OTHER women as well. Never treat a woman as a priority that treats you like an option.

Yeah, it seems like she’s being polite, but her disinterest shows with her actions. She’s not trying to plan or reschedule, she also isn’t really trying to engage or respond in timely fashions. You’re chasing her at this point.
