Parents, would you make a big deal out of your daughter's boyfriend being shorter than her?

My family definitely would, not to his face but I know they would make comment cause when my sister bring a boyfriend that was shorter than her my mother and grandmother made a lot of comment on it, they also commented on how he was skinny.

She was like "why do she date such a short guy? he last boyfriend was tall, what weird taste, they surely won't stay together for long"

I'm not a parent, but I find it hard to understand why that would be an issue for them. If he's a scumbag or a criminal or hurts her or something, yes, that'd be an issue; I can even understand objecting if he's poor (although frankly, wanting to live on one income is pretty much a pipe dream these days), even if I don't really share it, but height? No. I've seen good and bad people at every size, and that's what REALLY matters.
