How do you think dating would change if people had their body counts on their foreheads?

This question reminds me of an ancient painting full of naked men and women in it. I’m big on studying enough history to prevent repeating it and can’t help but pick up patterns as I see them. The pleasure is great and there could be no concerns but this body count culture at the extremes can’t be all that good as people normalize it to be.


I can’t imagine the amount of sexual assault claims, marital legal cases that surface, and long-term behavior of the super high body counts especially what it could do beyond just psychological effects.


And that 24,000+ body count girl had in the video is unreal. At that point I wouldn’t know if I could trust her. And if I had a body count that high, would I really appreciate the girl I’m focused on being with?


… and having kids which has always been my plan. Others may have other priorities or none at all and can’t see these effects long-term.


While the body count may just help both partners have experience and ‘get rid of their craving’ supposedly it could pose lots of challenges throughout a healthy marital future unless both have seriously clear communication about their vows and commitment. Perhaps not everyone wants a long-term commitment like that while they raise their family… Welcome to dreadful marriages and stressful anniversaries among the fewer healthy and faithful ones if any- I guess who cares about all of that since dating and sleeping around now is fun. You’re really just asking, “How would dating change if people were honest?”.
It would change completely. The entirety of dating is a drawn out attempt to make sure your lies outlast the other person’s infatuation. If they discover the truth before they commit, you lose. Guys that are virgins now wouldn´t have it better instead it would be easier for some guys to make of fun of them or be avoided by women. Women with high body counts would be avoided by many guys and those women that are beautiful and a virgin would probably get put on a pedestral and be praised just for it.

It would take the focus of dating even more on the sexual part and even more away from a person´s character as women and men would judge each other based on sexual preferences.

In short I don´t see a benefit in that scenario as it doesn´t help to bring men and women together to enter a relationship it would do the opposite as it rather seperates than brings people together.
