Anyone lost faith in the dating world?

With cheating being more acceptable and people just being shitty, I lost all faith. I don’t know when or why it got to this point but it’s definitely not worth the risk.

Quite honestly, I’m so thankful I’m single. It makes me sad or want to cry that people purposely hurt their loved ones, and they don’t even care. I never want to be in a relationship 😞

Its always seemed to me to find some one w/ similar interests and start a convo. The worst place are bars. It always feel like it's a pick up scene w/ many guys who seem to be lacking in the same way. I had the most and best lovers in college. Any place that isn't normally considered a pick up scene. I spend anyway traveling through Europe, Africa, and Asia. One time I did it by myself and it resulted in some of the most interesting ( sexually, professionally and platonically ait always seemed far easier thanna bar scene where everyone is sizing up anyone else. Also have met interesting women at places like group tennis lessons; sailing can be expensive but a vast majority of them offer charters where you're likely not be withn/ no people you already know. In my case other successful fishing grounds are night classes at any college, I play music & will occasionally taken group lessons, and tennis same thingnessentially. It might sound like a weird bunch of suggestions but the main reason is you're outside obviously pick up zones. Good luck.

Good things take time. Finding the right person may not be easy. But it will be worth it. The heartbreak , the cheating and all the bad dates. Work on yourself, seek therapy to help heal your old wounds. Dress up & feel cute. Go out to social club like book club , join sports team , or an art class. Where you can meet people. There’s millions and billions of people out there. There definitely someone that you can match with. And be in a very happy & healthy relationship. I know it’s hard to stay positive after continuous disappointments. But these can be all learning lessons. So looking to guys you date next you could pick up on those red flags , you can set the boundaries, you could walk away when needed. It’s a numbers game with a sprinkle of luck. Stay positive to manifest the man that best for you.
