Do girls really online stalk every man from her past?

I’ve had several girls tell me that they constantly stalk the social medias of just about every man from her past, even men they’ve ended up rejecting. Even when she’s in a relationship.

Is it a boredom thing?

Is it because you miss him?

Is it because you want to see his life fall apart just to make yourself feel better?

I stalk almost everyone from my past

I only stalk certain ones

I never stalk

Considering the fact that there wasn’t social media for roughly 2/3 of my life, I don’t bother (and presume they don’t bother either).


There’s one exception bc a mutual friend reconnected us, but we don’t really chat; we text one another on our birthdays and that’s it.


The ex hubbie has nasty stalker tendencies that I shut down by blocking him on everything and getting a restraining order. We don’t run in the same circles at all, so that’s that.


To my knowledge, no one else from my past would stalk me, nor would I do that to them. What’s the point? A total waste of time.

I do sometimes, and I think it’s just boredom for me personally , a little curiosity but that doesn’t entail interest. I had an argument with an ex because he thought my search history had meaning, when in reality I’m just using social media for what it’s for. Doesn’t mean those people hold more meaning in my life than my then boyfriend at the time had.

Personally I don’t think online stalking is really that crazy. I think a mass major of people do it. “Crazy” is waiting outside of an exes house while driving your friends car

No it’s crazy. I don’t do it. I don’t know many men that do it after they breakup w a girl. They’d rather have as little to do w her as possible. It seems like it’s ok for women to do it but if a man does it he’s a psycho, a lunatic, etc.

@Opinion owner yeah of course it’s psycho if he is acting on the fact that he’s looking through her things and being a dick head about the fact that they broke up. Nobody would have a clue if he was innocently searching her profile.

I used to in my younger years but not anymore. Back then, I was too concerned with their progress rather than my own; whether they were doing something new, changed at all, dating a new person, I made comparisons way too often. Fortunately it was both short-lived and I outgrew that type of curiosity.

Only the people that they were in a full committed something with but once they really over you, they really over you. They don’t have anything to do with you. I’m trying to upgrade and get to the next person that really wants to take care of them and they’re not really trying to see what the hell you got going on they just, really care and wonder in the back of their mind are you OK? Some really want you to suffer if they’re evil and just don’t give a shit.

Only the ones I was involved with but even then I only stalk out of boredom. I always feel happy and proud to see the person that they have become. I do stalk my bf’s ex to see if her life is falling apart tho. That’s only bcs she’s still terrorizing my boyfriend and myself bcs she can‘t seem to move on just yet.
