How to deal with a man that works long hours?

he has accepted a job change where he will start working long hours and i will barely see him (blue collar) what advice would you give me when adjusting to this change?

Be supportive and try to spend as much time with him as you can. Adjust your schedule as best you can so you can spend time together.

But remember one thing. Guys like to be alone but not by themselves. Don't smother him. After working long hours, a guy often just wants to relax, by himself.

You shouldn't rely on your partner for happiness. Make them a part of your life not your whole life. Hopefully you also recognize his sacrifice and show appreciation even though you will be missing him etc.
