Do people only care about personality only when they find you physically attractive first?

This is something I firmly believe in.
I always think there must be some initial attraction in order to see if their personality is what you're looking for.
If people think you're ugly, it doesn't matter how nice you are, they won't even entertain you.

Yes like I feel like people lie when they say they don’t care about looks and they only go for personality. Realistically, if you don’t physically find them attractive first (face, body etc) you won’t even bother looking into how good or bad their personality is.
