He is on meds and has bipolar 1. He said he had been focusing on himself and he got a new job. I said it was hard to tell if he wanted to stay in contact but that I hoped to maintain a connection. He didn't reply.. then he randomly replied to my snap story. We talked about this landmark and he said there was no chance he will be going there without me.
It was nice to hear he wanted to see me.. and yeah he does watch my stories which I know probably means nothing. I feel I've tried hard and been as patient as I can but he pushes me away, which he tends to do he said. He isn't good at maintaining relationships, he admitted to that. I obviously care and have feelings for him. Is It worth trying anymore at this point?

Can you squat 400 pounds? Some women can.
To be patient and help someone with secerew issues requires skills and patience. Do you have that… or are you in ‘above your abilities and training’.
I thought I had, it's his constant lack of communication that is very confusing especially because it is long distance. But perhaps I'm not equipped for this nor do I have the qualities needed. I just don't want to let go
As i read it, you should. Or you work with him on communicating. But this is issue one… there's many more.
I just feel if I keep trying to have open discussions which I have, and he can't, there's no way to even move forward. So I have been distancing myself. I am not even a good communicator so maybe I'm not for him
Don't stick your dick in crazy.
Highly recommend you avoid dating people who have severe mental illness such as bipolarism, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc.
unless you're desperate or something it's not worth it
It does sound difficult. To be fair he is on meds, in therapy and seems to be getting his life in order. But I understand it all depends on if the person is willing to stick to their meds.
