No.. Not always... I picked a guy who I thought we connected on a deep level more than anyone else. We were friends when we were younger and through the years I thought about him, then we met again after a long time, so in my head I thought he was "the one" because he came back into my life and told me he loved me. I was like "I have to make him mine" because we used to like each other when we were younger and he said he still loved me now. So I did everything to be with him, tried to be the best and loving to him but he found me to be "suffocating" and would pull away from me saying he isn't ready right now. Which made me more desperate to get him. I eventually started realizing he didn't like me as much as I liked him so I started pulling away from him then he would pull me back in saying he loves me and misses me. Until I got sick of seeing his behaviour online and said I don't want to try and make him mine anymore, and he unleashed everything he thought about me which was super cruel and told me to go since he didn't even care, he has girls he was fucking anyways.. lol
I now know not to fall in love and probably won't ever obsess over a man again since he was the only guy I ever felt that way for or was obsessed with and tbh he wasn't worth anything and I doubt I will ever see a man as worth anything ever again.
@Goahead76 Yeah he had me going for awhile there..
Varies from person to person & has nothing to do with gender. I think it mostly happens to people who get a thrill from chasing someone unavailable because they are unavailable themselves. If the person shows interest, they usually get turned off, because they are nowhere near ready to actually start something.
Personally, I don't. Never have. Why would I obsess over someone who doesn't give a crap about me? Bro, I have dignity lol.
The idea that women are more attracted to guys who don’t seem interested is pretty common, but it’s not that simple. There’s some psychology behind it, but you’ve got to take it with a grain of salt.
There's the scarcity principle, where people tend to value things that are harder to get, and this can make someone who seems aloof more intriguing. Uncertainty can also play a role, as not knowing if someone likes you can make you think about them more, which can boost attraction. From an evolutionary standpoint, a guy who isn't overly eager might be seen as more selective and therefore more desirable. However, this isn't a one-size-fits-all thing... context, personality, and culture matter a lot. Plus, while playing hard to get might work in the short term, long-term relationships usually thrive on mutual interest and genuine connection.
It depends obviously on the woman. Women who are into playing games these women are truthfully wasting their own time. If they are into dudes who don’t want them, while at the same time dudes who show interest, or even the men who weren’t interested start acting like they are they run.
How are you ever going to find someone? If you only chase who doesn’t want you. Makes no sense but some people like the chase I guess. People who play games like that the joke will be on them in the end.
I think some people definitely want what they can’t have. Those people will never be happy in a million years and I feel sorry for whatever dude does end up with someone like that. Because those kinds of people will never be happy no matter what you do. Because there will always be more.

It depends on the girl and whether she has an obsessive sort of personality.
Guys are the same way. We obsess over girls we can't have. You always want most what you can't have. And if you CAN have them, then they seem less valued in your eyes. Ultimately I think it's a matter of poor self esteem, as in, "Anyone who could want me can't be worth anything, because I'm not worth anything." That's not a good mindset to defeat yourself with before you start! If you have such poor self-esteem that you really think you will never be able get someone worthwhile, and if you can get someone, you automatically FEEL they are not worthwhile, maybe you need a bit of therapy to find out why you feel that way!
In general women prefer to date someone who is better than them, hypergamy. And this phenomenon has been put on steroids thanks to social media and dating apps. More and more men are lonely and sexless. And it's only going to get worse before it starts getting better. Women who are young and beutiful have absolutely no interest in men at or marginally above their level.
I believe people who obsess over someone that is not interested in them is seeking validation or trying to prove their worth. Rejection makes people feel not good enough so they try to correct that. It honestly probably has nothing to do with who the person actually is.
For me personally, I lose attraction for someone who isn't interested. They are no longer an option in my mind, so why waste my time and effort. It's pointless.
Why would anyone with half a brain give a toss about a guy who is not interested. Men are a dime-a-dozen.
A dime a dozen? That kind of assumes that men are all the same, and we are not! We don't come off an assembly line. We are not interchangeable. We're just people, just like you girls!
Depends, hell some women are weird right folks ♀️👠 lol like all humans sigh, ups and downs, weirdos and whackjobs and normals
girls that dont know their worth and are seeking validation chase guys that aren't pursuing them. women who know how an actual man should behave when interested and wants to date them, are turned off by any man that does not show up as that.
Uninterested. It's like the forbidden fruit. Something denied can become very attractive.
It varies from person to person, but in general, yes women do it far more than men do.
No, she will interpret that as if you're not interested in her.
Yes, but it also depends on the chick AND the dude.
It depends really
Not always honey
