1 yVirginity of a man or woman who could get sex if he or she wanted it speaks volumes about their level of self control. I’m not saying anyone is perfect but I would respect someone a lot whose even a lifelong virgin if he or she never met someone they loved.
Its better to keep that piece of yourself because it’s hard to get it back once it’s given away

Being a virgin is only gonna scare away fuckboys that can't be bothered to put in any work cause all they want is a quick nut. So yeah some guys are gonna think " it's gonna take forever to get this chick to put out, forget this" and well that's a good thing, you're better off without the dudes who are basiclly upset that you don't treat yourself like a sexdoll.
Of course you'll have to look out for the silver tongued, smooth talking fuckboys who fetishize virgins... but point is being a virgin isn't a redflag.00 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)1 yI lost mine at 23 and had this asshole tell me that it was pathetic, weird and sad that I waited that long. Just do what makes you feel comfortable and don’t worry about what others think, because there’s always someone who’s going to red flag you no matter what so fuck other people’s opinions.

Asker1 yThat’s awful! I’m sorry you went through that
1 yI don't think virginity is a red flag. Absolutely nothing wrong with a person who is a virgin; well, not because she (or he) is a virgin. I know plenty of NON-virgins who you might want to avoid; I just don't think virginity status is a valid reason for a red flag.

1 yI don't think it will ever be seen as a red flag per se. But if you're 30 and you're still a virgin, it's highly likely you won't be considering sex with your partner any time soon and because sex is important to most people in a relationship, I think it might deter some people.
00 Reply 3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I wouldn't worry about it as bad as you I think if you probably just got out more often you would have better more luck better chances but. I mean do you talk to people in this app do you talk to anybody in any other apps I mean you have to kind of put yourself out there that you're still a very good age

1 yWhere are you from, race, physical condition, and then and only then I can give you a real answer to this question.
00 ReplySince when does virginity ever become a red flag? That's got to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever read on this portal, and I've seen a lot. The fact that you put a time line on it that comes with an expectation is crazy.
If you're religious, it's what is expected that someone remains a virgin until marriage. Many people don't wait and that's their business, but it becomes insane when they start telling others that they're "late to the party" or putting pressure on then to "lighten up" when that's not their intended purpose.
My parents waited until marriage and I plan on doing the same. I don't care if someone wants to sleep with triple figures before they settle down if they don't tell me what I should do with myself and how I should live my life. I don't give a damn about peer pressure, never have and never will.
10 Reply934 opinions shared on Dating topic. in my opinion no reason to think of it as a red flag. Why should someone have sex if they have not been Interested in having sex with anyone they met 🤷🏻♀️ I’d have a higher opinion if someone who didn’t just have sex randomly bc they were worried it’d be seen as a red flag. Plus how would anyone know, unless she told them.
30 Reply1.8K opinions shared on Dating topic. If she’s 25 and a virgin you think she probably has some kind of social ineptitude or places some kind of crackpot sentimentality or faux purity on virginity due to religious delusions.
You never get another time in your life like that between the ages of 20 and 40 so make the most of it and don’t let it go to waste. Be brave, take risks and enjoy yourself. Getting in the mix like that is how you find a partner for life. You don’t get it by remaining insular and closed off to the world.
Good luck darl.

1 yWife and me both waited till 30s. Honestly it's only a red flag to those who want sex out of the relationship and not to get to know you and your heart!
They do you a big favor if they avoid you cause you waited. Won't feel like it till latter!

m 1 yIt’s not a red flag, it is her choice and as such not a red flag. There is a caveat to that, if she judges others for not being virgins, then she runs into the being a red flag. It’s not a red flag being a virgin and it’s not a red flag not being a virgin and not married.
00 ReplyWhen she too old to have children I guess, I always prefer a virgin over a ho of the same age.

1 yNo age. Until she is ready. A woman virginity should not be shammed on cause she chooses to lose it later in life. I like mine when I was 13 and it was by choice and it was with a boyfriend I had. It was very nice experience for me.

1 yOther Option: NEVER!
Some women are waiting for the right guy or just don’t have a sex drive. Who cares? Let women be women, same with let men be men.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yMen in general will always prefer a virgin over being overused regardless of age unless you’re 80 years old or something.
Men who are NOT looking for a relationship will probably be the only ones that care because in those cases they prefer the overused pussy because they know they will get sex in contrast with a virgin of any age, their sexual urge will not be satisfied there as that girl/woman is likely not going to have sex with them if it’s not a real relationship.00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Maybe at like 30. Not a red flag but more so that she's just missing out on life experiences at that point

"Essential part of life" is something you cannot live without. Food, water, Oxygen and a shelter are all essential. If someone has demonstrated that they could live long enough without sex, that makes it an important, but not *essential* part of life.
"Missing out" implies they're living their life wrong. People have different plans for how they want to live their lives and shouldn't have to live up to someone else's expectations. How do you know they're not saving themselves up for marriage? How do you know they just haven't met the right person? Are they just supposed to lose their v card to a random so that they don't "miss out"?

woman's virginity isn't a red flag
30 ReplyI didn't vote for any poll options. You don't have sex until you are ready for it and are with someone special. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 29, and that's the only time I've ever done it. Try to make your life the best it can be. If a fantastic guy that loves you for you comes along and wants to be a part of your life, go for it.

Allow me to rephrase, someone who's only been in UNHEALTHY relationships might be a redflag.
I know a few happily married couples who never dated until 35+ lol
Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yI'd say 30 is a turning point for virginity for both men and women but for different reasons.
For women it's about fertility. After 30 they don't have much time if they want to have kids. They have to worry about that biological clock. It's probably one of the most stressful things in a woman's lifetime.
For men it's more about their natural behavior. If they haven't had sex by 30 that's just not normal.
00 ReplyBeing virgin or not having boyfriend/girlfriend is totally ok. It is normal to not loose it until you find the right one. I would respect someone who lost it at 18 if they found the right one. Equal respect will be shown to someone in any age if they didn't find the right one.

m 1 yPlease stop torturing yourself, any decent guy will not care for this, this will trigger their curiosity, and that's all.

Asker1 yCuriosity like what’s wrong with her? Why hasn’t she done it? Does this mean she’s not going to do it with me?
- 1 y
Assume neutral curiosity, like, what kind of life you lived, why your life didn't put guys on your path, or why did you refuse to engage in sexuality... This sort of enquiry you know, just trying to figure out who you are, neutrally
