Is age just a number?

So when it comes to relationships are you ok dating someone a lot younger or older? A lot to me = 10+ years. As a 44 year old divorced dad back in the dating pool I’m pleasantly surprised that many women are more focused on the personality and less on the age difference. What do you think?

Up to a point, it’s when people date the age and not the person. You date people you like, are compatible with. A bit like a previous question I answered that was saying would guys date a 23 or 24, telling the age differences apart would be hard and would be a 50/50 guess.

I got divorced at 50 and everyone I dated was around 20 years younger or more. It's hard to find someone close to my age who wants to spend the weekend mountain biking or backpacking. I never even noticed an age difference with the women I dated

To some degree, but not entirely. 15 and 100 are both numbers, but there's nothing besides a gun to my head that would make me see past that number. 10-15 years apart, everyone is an adult and mentally sound? Sure, just a number at that point.

Really to anwser the question. I would only ever date someone roughly the same age as me or a bit younger. Older men can't really offer anything I want out of a relationship
